literally.
For those not in the know, Chanel has taken over Harrods London for the next three weeks! Of course I had to go, and can I just say awesome?
I went to the Chanel pop-up store with all the amazing RTW, bags and costume jewellery; walked all round Harrods just to see every window display and also visited the Une Promenade (nearly a museum dedicated to all things Chanel) on the third floor.
HIGHLIGHTS:
1. Seeing all the Chanel-themed windows outside Harrods.
2. Walking into a garden with a Chanel gardening can! I went a bit crazy over this. I would totally pick up gardening if I had the can!
3. Watching how a 2.55 is made with all the amazing detail and hearing the workshop sounds in the room. The logo at the back is exactly the logo on the bag – loveeeeee!
4. Coco and Karl nursery – the teddy bears were wearing Chanel outfits. Real Chanel too, with the chain-lined hem of the cardigan. I wanted to be a bear!
5. Seeing the quintessentially Harrods green shopping bag being mixed with Chanel signs. It isn’t cheap though, £1830! Almost the price of a flap. But of course, it’s essential for Chanel collectors, non?
No photos, but you can check out another lucky person’s coverage of it here.
